Our Top 5 Flowers of 2023

As the year comes to an end, Eric and I have been reflecting on our favorite flowers we grew in 2023. There was so much beauty in the fields but these were our favorites! All of these blooms will be grown on the farm next year in even greater quantities because we think y’all loved them as much as we did. Here are our top 5 favorite flowers:

Tulips – This year we grew 2800 tulips and sold every single stem we could put in the flower stand. The bright colors brought me so much joy. Can’t wait to see the varieties we chose for next year.

Snapdragons – These beauties stole my heart. I loved their shape and pastel colors. They brought so much charm to our bouquets. Next year we are going to have thousands!

Lisianthus – “Lizzies” were the absolute star of the summer. The weekends we had them in our bouquets turned out to be our highest sales days. That means we have to grow them next year right??

Zinnias – You can’t really have summer flowers and not grow zinnias. They love our Oklahoma heat and last so long in the vase. A true gem.

Sunflower – The staple of our farm! Sunflowers bloom for us May through October. I love their sunny faces and y’all asked for them every week!
